Part of the Silver DofE award involves an expedition lasting three days, with two nights spent camping.
Our Explorers took a route across Devon from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. Instead of hiking, they completed their Silver award by cycling the distance.
In order to complete your DofE award, you must have an aim to your journey, for these Explorers their aim was to locate and photograph historic landmarks on various disused railways.
